My name is Bridget van Woerden. I am a qualified and registered early childhood teacher and I have been in the sector since 2016. I have a Bachelors of Teaching and Learning (Early Childhood) from the University of Canterbury.
As a teacher I believe that each child is unique and have different strengths and interests, therefore my teaching approach in supporting them to be a competent and confident learner needs to be unique.
By having a safe environment for whānau and tamariki where they can develop a sense of belonging and have multiple different experiences to discover the world around them is something that I believe is important.
I am excited to get to know you and be a part of your child’s journey here at Kirwee Tree House Learning Centre.
