Our Food

Vegetable platter at childcare centreAt Kirwee Tree House we believe that a nutrient-rich and varied diet is crucial for a Child’s mental development and well-being. We have engaged renowned paediatric nutritionists to assist in the development of our menus, and all of our menus exceed the Ministry of Health’s guidelines for toddlers and pre-schoolers healthy eating.

Our meals are low in sugar and salt and aim to include lots of plant-based ingredients and whole foods. As much as we can we will purchase local, sustainable, clean and cruelty-free produce to align with our centre’s philosophies.

For our nursery children not yet eating solids, we will have seasonal mixed vegetable and fruit purees – made on site by our cook and we will ask that parents provide formula or breast milk if required.  We will cater for a wide range of allergies and intolerances also.
