Kendall Hall

Kia ora e te Whānau!

Ko Kendall tōku ingoa, my name is Kendall. I originate from Riversdale, Southland and completed my Bachelor of Teaching Endorsed in Early Childhood at the University of Otago, Dunedin before moving to Christchurch in 2016.

Kirwee Tree house has a set of unique values which have a significant impact on my teaching philosophy. Our families and the community have a large contribution to the daily routines and special events within our centre, providing opportunities for whānau to form strong connections with other families, teaching team and wider community, including our local school. My passion for the outdoors and nature is inspired when working with tamariki in our unique environment and outdoor spaces which have a strong focus on the environment as the third teacher.

I have a strong focus on spending as much time in our inspiring spaces working alongside our teaching team and ngā tamariki, capturing the essence of children’s critical thinking and working theories.Every day provides excitement, joy and wonder with tamariki, families and the teaching team making Kirwee Tree House to be an inspiring and unique place to be! I look forward to meeting you and your whānau, working alongside you in this beautiful environment.

He taonga te mokopuna, kia whāngaia, kia tipu, kia rea – A child is a treasure, to be nurtured, to grow, to flourish.
